I have two daughters of my own and I cherish the photos that I have of them and wished that I had taken more. Photography and working with children have always been two separate passions of mine, and they intertwined after the birth of my first grandson. I fell deeper in love with him behind my camera lens. Cradling, swaddling, and posing him during his first few days in the world taught me the significance and beauty of newborn photography. The subtle smile and sleepy movement of a newborn warms my heart! After years of working with children as an elementary school teacher, my adoration for little fingers and innocent smiles continues to grow.

I am committed to exceptional customer service. Photography sessions can be in studio, in the comfort of your own home, or on location at local parks and beaches. In addition to my passion of photography, I have had much in-person training in posing and the safety of newborns by photographers worldwide who are experts in their field. I continue training to keep up with current tends and safety guidelines. I am a Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America and have received the Safety Certification through Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International. What it's like working with me

We met shortly after college and married a couple years later. I really wouldn't be were I am today with him! We have raised two beautiful, intelligent daughters and have been blessed with three super adorable grandchildren, ages 1 - 5 years old. We have gone on so many adventures!

When I am not doing my favorite activity - photographing sweet babies or lovely families, I love to travel. My family and I have shared many adventures along the way. Whether it's hiking on a glacier in New Zealand, sailing to Catalina or the Channel Islands or visiting one of my favorite countries - Italy - we have had a lot of fun. I enjoy learning about all cultures and places. Traveling is so exciting!

Whether it's a quick sail up and down our beautiful southern California coastline or a trip to Catalina Island, nothing beats a relaxing, quiet sailing trip. And it's so fascinating to see the sea life -dolphins and, hopefully; a whale!

The most important part of my day! I 've been a coffee lover/snob for a long time. One of my favorite things is to get some really good whole coffee beans and then grind them just before brewing. Just love that frothy brew!

I was referred to Diane through a friend of a friend to do my newborn son’s photos. I was very thrilled with how quickly she responded from the very start and how communicative she was and that she checked in with me (preggo & mom brain made me very forgetful). I contacted her while I was still pregnant and then after I had my baby to set up his photo shoot and she was so helpful with giving information and answering all my questions. We decided to do our session in home because that was easier with a new baby. She came with so many options for props and backgrounds! It was so wonderful. She was patient with my baby and with me which was helpful especially when my baby ended up being fussy. We absolutely love our newborn photos! Diane was extremely professional, kind, and patient with us during our newborn session. We had an in home session. We took posed newborn photos with the props, wraps, and headbands Diane brought., and we also took family photos in the nursery and room. We got so many great shots! As a new mom, I was nervous about a newborn session. You just don't know how the baby is going to be. But Diane put us at ease, she was so patient with us and our baby. She allowed us time to breastfeed and was so good at calming our newborn girl. She worked really quick to pose and get great shots. Thank you Diane! We are so grateful!
